I believe if you're following a whole food based diet with a variety of fruits, vegetables, protein sourced from healthy animals and plants, and a moderate amount of healthy fats (see my Nutrition page), then you may not need supplementation. However, when the body is out of balance for a long time and we've tried nutrition changes first, we may need some supplements to get back on track.
I do ALOT of research on products before I try them personally. I like to ensure the products I use to bring my body back to balance are high quality products that have been tested independently by a third-party for purity and potency. The supplement market is not regulated the same as our food, so you have to really trust the companies from which you purchase these products.
